Important: These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Client”) and Advocate Sahab (“Firm”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Your continued use of our services indicates your acceptance of these terms.
2. Legal Services Description
Advocate Sahab provides legal services including but not limited to criminal defense, civil litigation, family law matters, motor accident claims, and alternative dispute resolution. Our services are provided by qualified legal professionals practicing in Delhi NCR.
Scope of Services
Our legal services are limited to matters explicitly agreed upon in writing. We reserve the right to refuse representation in matters outside our expertise or that present conflicts of interest.
Attorney-Client Relationship
An attorney-client relationship is established only upon execution of a written retainer agreement. Preliminary consultations do not create an attorney-client relationship.
Jurisdictional Limitations
Our legal services are primarily provided within the jurisdiction of Delhi NCR courts. Representation in other jurisdictions may require special arrangements.
3. Client Responsibilities
As our client, you have certain responsibilities to ensure effective legal representation:
Truthful Disclosure
Provide complete and accurate information about your case
Document Cooperation
Promptly provide all requested documents and information
Timely Responses
Respond to our communications in a timely manner
Fee Payment
Make payments as per agreed schedule and terms
Client Cooperation
Your cooperation is essential for effective legal representation. Failure to provide necessary information, documents, or payments in a timely manner may adversely affect your case and could lead to termination of our services.
Communication Protocol
We maintain regular communication regarding case developments. However, we cannot guarantee immediate responses to all communications, especially outside business hours. Emergency matters should be clearly identified as such.
4. Fees and Payment Terms
Our fee structure is transparent and will be clearly outlined in your retainer agreement:
Initial payment required to secure our legal services, which may be applied toward future services or held in trust as per agreement terms.
Services may be billed at hourly rates specified in your retainer agreement, with detailed time records provided upon request.
Certain services may be offered at fixed fees as specified in writing, covering defined scope of legal work.
In appropriate cases, we may work on contingency basis where fees are payable only upon successful recovery, as specifically agreed in writing.
Payment Obligations
All fees and costs are due as specified in your retainer agreement. Late payments may incur interest charges and could result in suspension or termination of legal services. We reserve the right to withdraw from representation for non-payment of fees.
5. Confidentiality
We maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information and case details, in accordance with professional ethical obligations and applicable laws.
Attorney-Client Privilege
Communications between you and our firm are protected by attorney-client privilege, subject to legal exceptions. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your confidential information.
Exceptions to Confidentiality
Confidentiality may not apply in situations involving: prevention of future crimes, court orders requiring disclosure, fee collection proceedings, or when necessary to prevent substantial bodily harm.
6. Disclaimer and Limitations
While we strive to provide excellent legal representation, certain limitations apply:
No Guarantee of Results
We cannot guarantee specific outcomes in legal matters. Case results depend on various factors beyond our control including evidence, witness credibility, and judicial discretion.
Legal Advice Only
Our communications constitute legal advice, not business, financial, or personal advice. Clients should consult appropriate professionals for non-legal matters.
Time Limitations
Legal proceedings involve inherent delays. We work diligently but cannot control court schedules, opposing party actions, or other procedural timelines.

Either party may terminate the attorney-client relationship subject to certain conditions:
Client Termination Rights
You may terminate our services at any time by providing written notice. Upon termination, you remain responsible for fees and costs incurred up to the termination date.
Firm Termination Rights
We may withdraw from representation for valid reasons including: non-payment of fees, client’s insistence on pursuing unlawful objectives, breakdown of attorney-client relationship, or other good cause as permitted by professional conduct rules.
Post-Termination Obligations
Upon termination, we will provide reasonable assistance in transitioning your case to new counsel and deliver your file materials upon payment of outstanding fees and costs.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Delhi.
Dispute Resolution: We prefer to resolve any concerns or disputes amicably. If formal dispute resolution becomes necessary, parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing litigation.
